If the panel matchs the model type, does the screen model matter?

I recently broke my new mac book 13" panel screen, there is a HUGE crack on the laptop and I need to replace the screen. I literally bought it a month ago so its the most recent macbook. My question is, the panels model code is 6615588, will the panel type suggested on the parts page for this laptop work for my laptop?
