Changing Battery Cell from a thrid party casing to the original casing

My original Macbook battery is pretty much dead, and I now have a third party battery in hand. My problem is that my new thrid party battery doesn't fit in the Macbook very well.

I was wondering if it was possible to open both batteries and swap the internals so that I have a fresh set of cells in my original casing.
