My camre won't turn on / The iPod wont find it.

I've almost succesfully repaired my Ipod but there's just one problem left. When I want to use my camera the screen wont open up. The only thing I get that beautiful iron spiral opening thing but it wont open. And I've already double checked that my back camera was connected to the motherboard. The only thing thats broken is the copper sheet at the bavk of my EMI shield to the camera but I thought that that was only a seal. Does somebody maybe know how to help me?
