Title:

Replaced LCD, but new one is all white!

Text:

I have a 16gb 2nd gen touch that was given to me. It had a broken LCD and a broken front glass/digitizer. The Ipod would sync with Itunes and play music in my car, but the LCD would not light up/turn on. I bought a replacement LCD and a whole front panel assembly. I successfully disassembled the Ipod and took out the bad screen. I put the new LCD in and before putting the front panel back on I decided to power it on to check the LCD. all the shows up is a solid white screen. I was wondering if anyone had an idea what it could be. I have read several posts [http://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/33278/iPod+touch+working+completely%2C+but+screen+is+WHITE!+why|here] and [http://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/11375/Why+is+my+iPod+touch+screen+white|here]. Is it a bad logic board or is it a crappy LCD that I purchased off of eBay? I would prefer to do some things before i seal up the Ipod so any input regarding the LCD/ inside of the Ipod would be appreciated as I don't want to keep opening and closing the Ipod.

Thanks,
