iPhone will not connect to PC

| This iPhone 3G will charge from a wall charger! It will not connect to the computer and it will not charge when connected to the USB port of the computer. Please help. |
| I have windows 7. I have tried on various USB ports on 4 different computers. Where other iPhones works fine. |

| Yes I did get a dock from a working phone. Did'nt change anthing. I put the dock into the origina phone it works fine. |
The battery seems to hold good charge. The phone can stay on without draining the battery and to clarify it works without the wall I will replace the battery from a working iphone and will post the results. Thank you very much all. Good Bye. |
