You're in luck, because the [guide|3140|guide] for that part exists already. I'm not aware of the back panel being separable from any parts attached to it because I haven't personally seen any of the "ebay" parts available for the iPhone 4. Unfortunately, none of the vendors I've seen on ebay have taken a shot of the inner face of the rear panel. If you can find a picture of the inner face of one of these replacement panels, I can tell you if it will work.
The third picture on [guide|3130|this|stepid=15305] step shows what the inner face needs to look like.
