Hi,

Having replaced the battery in my 16G everything workes absolutely fine '''except the backlight.'''

Tilting the %@$& iPod towards a light shows everything that I expected to see, and the device reacts to being touched over the whole of the screen.

Nope resetting the settings dosn't work.

I suspect an issue with the ribbon cable connectors or even the ribbon cables but am unsure what the solution is.
