Title:

white screen/grey screen with random lines after assembly.

Text:

I tried to open my iPod just for fun( I was so dumb to do so). But I couldn't connect the orange cable which gets connected to the socket on the top right corner of the logic board. Please have a look at the uploaded pictures.

But after repeated attempts I finally connected it. But I see a weird white/grey screen with a black spot at one corner and other anomalies. I think while trying to get the screen out I damaged it.

What is wrong with my ipod? Is the connector damaged or the screen? Should I restore it?

Please help.
