Ps3 fat won't eject disc after failed attempt to clean.

Got free ps3 from a friend. He was trying to clean the massive amount of dust from the inner console. It worked perfectly fine until he messed up putting it back together. Now the ps3 will still works but unfortunately it will not unload the disc. Possible reasons and or solutions?
