Why do I have a White Screen with new digitizer?

Hi everyone. I have a 3gs that has a white screen.

It wasn't dropped and doesn't have water damage.

It connects to iTunes and will sync. Just one day had the white screen.

None of the button combinations work.

After reading about a million posts none seem to be like mine, most have iTunes errors where as mine connects and syncs...just no picture.

I was told I needed a new digitizer...so I bought one and replaced it. I still have the white screen.

Sounds work, my alarms go off...can't really get them to turn off. I tried to unlock it with the white screen, but that didn't work.

Any suggestions? I have checked the connectors 1,2 and 3 multiple times and all are clean and connected correctly.
