Digitizer and Camera Not Functioning

Ok, so I'm fixing my friends iPod. I've replaced the digitizer. When I booted up after the repair I noticed that the camera in not working. When I launch the app, it comes up with the shutter and the photo/video switcher just flickers. Also the mid section of the digitizer is not responding. I'm not sure whether it's a faulty digitizer or what but I really need to get this sorted. Please Help!
