Did you remove the battery on the motherboard? If you did, the phone loses it's settings and the firmwarefirmware also gets wiped too doing this on some BlackBerries, and can do this at times, if this is the case, it's either waiting for a firmware install or recovering the phone, you SHOULD NOT stop this if it's recovering the phone
