| To be honest I don't think this is repairable. As a new LCD panel is $230 I will wait until the situation worsens and/or is no longer bearable. Then I'll try to fix the panel by myself. Stil I'm not positive this can be done easily. |

The assumption is supported by the fact that a gentle "massage" at that spot usually makes the line go away (as long as I do not touch the display).
To be honest I don't think this is repairable. As a new LCD panel is $230 I will wait until the situation worsens and/or is no longer bearable. Then I'll try to fix the panel by myself. Stil I'm not positive this can be done easily.
