Title:

White Screen after opening iPhone

Text:

Was checking the #5 connector to see if it was disconnected because my lock button and volume rockers don't work.

Wasn't the problem, so I plugged in the device to the charge cable to boot the device.

I hadn't closed the phone casing so I would have quick access to the connectors.

Anyway, the screen is working fine but then I move the front panel display of the iPhone assembly and then BOOOM! White.

-I have checked and reconnected the display connectors and can confirm they are properly seated.

Do you think that a reset, restore, DFU or whatever it's called would do the trick?

...Although, maybe I'm between a rock and a hard place because how can I do this without a functioning lock button?

iPhone 3GS
