iPod 1st Generation: Froze at end of song won't reset

Original iPod was playing along in car while powered with adaptor when it froze. Does not respond to reset. Screen displays "now playing" and shows song title and indicates end of song. Had recently completed sync and battery charge on iMac.

iPod 1st Generation: My iPod is not recognized by iTunes or the desktop?

My 10GB iPod Classic is not recognized by iTunes or the desktop. Tried everything including resetting. When I connect to my computer, all it does is make a clicking sound. Could it be the hard drive? If so where would I get a new one?

iPod 1st Generation: Not responding correctly when connected to FM transmitter

When I plug my iPod 10gb click wheel into a FM transmitter in my car, it doesn't respond when I press any buttons and stops after one song each time. Also, the progress bar moves very slowly and is only a small way through when song finishes. Can't move to next song or pause or anything without disconnecting and reconnecting again. I've tried another iPod in the FM transmitter and that works fine so I believe the transmitter is OK. I've replaced the battery in mine, reset, reformatted, updated, everything. Works Ok when plugged into power, just not when plugged into FM transmitter. Can anyone help?
