Dryer had a tennis shoe jam in tub, wife got out and tried to turn on again,but it just says check lint screen, and beeps one time. Power is there, inside light lights up when door is opened, and the control panel lights up when cycles buttons are pushed. There is no sound at all,no belt broke. any suggestions?

the settings seem to work, and the dryer turns and even heats but the clothes don't get dry. I have to go through 3 or 4 cycles to get the clothes dry.

When I first turn my dryer on it's quiet but after about 20 minutes it's starts to get really loud and at that time it heats up so hot that you can't touch the clothes. When it gets this hot it wrinkles the clothes so bad you can't get them out, even with an iron.

this dryer has never had trouble before I always clean the lint screen.

I have removed the toe plate vacuumed all the lint I could. the belt is okay. will not start on any selected function ect heavy duty, jeans, timed dry. not working the display only flashed the number of minutes will not start.

The door keeps opening causing the dryer to quit. How can I keep the door from opening. It is not overloaded, but the clothes on the inside keeps pushing the door slightly open causing the dryer to quit.

took apart to replace thermistor because it had heat but would stop before clothes were dry and display error code E1. While it was apart, did a thorough cleaning of cabinet & lint trap assembly.

My Kenmore Elite Dryer has the check lint filter light on and will only run on the express dry cycle, I cleaned the lint out of the lint trap area and vacuumed the rest of the area, the dryer turned on on a different cycle as a test run, but when to dry the next load it went back to the express dry cycle, and check the lint filter light is back on, what more can i do as have not found a troubleshooting guide for the model i have.

Occured after replacing drum light which flashed and burned out. Bulb glass broke leaving a mirrored chrome finish on the glass. NOW, NEW DRUM LIGHT STAYS LIT & WILL NOT TURN OFF AFTER CLOSING DOOR. Push button control panel lights show all settings in normal fashion but after pressing start, only hear the beeps without dryer turning on. Do not know how to show error codes and have no maual.
